Chris Baker-Bland

My name is Chris, I have had the pleasure of being a Business Support Administrator for this great surgery since February of this year. I was first brought in on zero-hours to help out but am now a full and proud permanent member of the team. My role within this buzzing hub of the administration team is primarily to summarise patient files, which involves condensing into cerebrally ergonomic formats so that clinicians and other heroes of our squad can do their job with that slight more ease and efficiency (I really enjoy making things better where ever I can). This also includes the entry of information that is found not be previously in electronic records once I have trawled through the paper files of each patient whether that be immunisations, or even a diagnosis of a condition that may have a vital bearing on the prognosis of a patient.

At the risk of sounding very unoriginal, as I’m sure it’s been said by every other person that works and has worked here at Maywood; Everyone has been incredibly warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming back each day.
