When We Are Closed
For urgent appointments outside our normal surgery hours, please call the out-of-hours GP service, NHS 111
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
Examples of when it is right and appropriate to attend A&E without delay are:
- Major injuries such as injuries from road traffic accidents.
- Falls from a considerable height.
- Major Head injuries.
- Severe breathing difficulty.
- Severe chest pain.
- Severe haemorrhage.
- Extensive burns
