I originally gained an economics degree at Cambridge and followed my Father into accountancy, working for PwC on The Strand in London.  In 2009, aged 29, I decided on a career change.  The day before William & Kate were married, I learned that I had a place at Kings College London.  So after four years at medical school, one 4-month placement at Maywood during my 2-year Foundation training, and my 3rd & final Registrar year at Maywood, I was offered a post here in August 2020.  

Out of work, I spend as much time as possible caring for my elderly parents who live in Hertfordshire.
