I trained at Southampton University Medical School qualifying in 1999, following which, I did a variety of jobs in the South and South West including orthopaedics, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, elderly care, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, and A+E. During my time in hospital I achieved a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and was lucky enough to be able to work with a dermatologist seeing outpatients and gained valuable experience in a variety of skin problems. I became a GP trainee at Maywood in 2003 and gained my Membership of the Royal College of General Practice. As well as being a full time GP, I have an active role in teaching both hospital junior doctors during their placements in general practice and also GP trainees in their final year of training.

I am married to a heart failure nurse specialist and we live in a village to the north of Chichester with our 3 children. I enjoy walking, photography, playing the guitar (badly) and all sports, especially golf although making the time to “get out there” is always a challenge.
